Northern Alliance
The Northern Alliance was an alliance of warlords and tribal leaders mostly from the North. The Western Press used the name the "Northern Alliance", they called themselves the "United Islamic Front for the Salvation of Afghanistan".
The men in this picture was Ahmad Shah Massoud, the Military leader of the Northern Alliance, personal guards. The house they stand in front of is were Massoud was assassinated. We shared the house with them.
